ODay 7 Train spotting.

Heavy night on the drink last night, as had friends over. Up at 7:30 and still feeling drunk, the Beagle will never learn😎 Walked Jackson along the river, what a lovely fresh morning fresh and clear blue skies. I cooked us all breakfast and said bye to Phil and Jo around 12ish. Back to bed for a sleep for a couple of hours. As felt really tired from the lack of sleep, too much beer and from yesterday. I can used to this afternoon napping 😉

Set of just after 2pm on my own, with the plan to get my 40miles in for the week and also to meet Babs, who was walking Jackson out from Orton Mere.

Breathing is very laboured today, must be from the beer. Body felt good though, apart from the slight tightness still in my calf. There must of been a special steam train out today, as plenty of train spotters are out taking pictures.

Breathing eased at about 4 miles,as I was running the singletrack behind the Orton hall. I started feeling really good at about 6miles as I ran through the fields in Ferry Meadows. The sun was getting low now and the air had a slight chill in it.

Over the bouncy bridge and a sharp right, down along the Nene and the side of the golf course. The ground was wet and boggy underfoot, quite slippery at timed. I passed a couple of dog walkers and another runner. Then found Babs and the boy. I ran with him for about 400 meters then turned back to Babs. We walked back to van and head home via the Co op. Roast chicken for tea 😋

Day 7 done 358 to go.

8.6 miles ave HR 141
40.5 miles total.
